What does Tenebris Somnia mean?
The next step
“Dark dreams” is a useful English rendering: New Blood’s own poster listing uses that phrase for the game. Somnia is the plural form of somnium, “dream”; tenebris relates to tenebrae, “darkness.” This explains the words without claiming a definitive explanation of the ending.
Title translation and literal grammar
Keep the official name when searching a store or reporting a problem. “Dark dreams” works as a title gloss, not a word-for-word grammatical analysis: tenebris is an inflected noun form, not simply an adjective meaning dark. The dictionary entries below separate the Latin words from interpretations of the game.
Does the title reveal an ending?
No puzzle sequence or ending trigger follows from translating the title. If your question is how to obtain an ending, use the Aurifer decision and secret-route prerequisites in the endings guide. Treat a thematic reading about dreams or darkness as interpretation unless the creators explicitly connect it to a scene.
